My 8yo son came out of his trial lesson absolutely buzzing. He asked to go every day! Little brother has joined now too 😊 Instructor James is brilliant, as are the rest of the team. Can't wait to see the kids develop and move up the belts.

I've recently joined the adult Judo classes at Rei Judo Academy, and I've found it to be a very rewarding experience. James is very professional—deeply knowledgeable, patient, and always focused on helping each student improve, no matter their starting level. The sessions are well-structured, with clear technical instruction and plenty of opportunities to practice and improve. Everyone at the club is welcoming and supportive, creating a positive and motivating environment.

My 5 year old Twins started their Judo class one month ago, they requested to join. James is an excellent instructor, my son got more confident and enjoyed much there.

Rei Judo is a fantastic centre for children, my son has attended classes for a while and is always keen to go! He gets to not only learn the art of Judo but essential life skills and teamwork. James is patient and encourages each child to work hard and do their best. Good value and I would highly recommend this to any local parent.

James and all at Rei Judo Academy are excellent. Their adult beginners' programme is set exactly at the right level to introduce you gently into the sport and art of Judo. Your safety is looked after at all times, and you never feel out of your depth, training alongside supportive club members and James. It's also great fun!

I joined Rei Judo's senior class after watching my 10 year old flourish in confidence and ability in the junior class. Returning to judo as a white belt after nearly 35 years away from the sport is one of the most enjoyable and rewarding things I have done in a long time. Rei Judo is a family run business and very professional. James is a great teacher, giving the right balance of clear instruction and practice and is a fantastic role model, especially for the kids.

The class structure is fantastic, and all of the supporting communication and information is so helpful.
